The following pictures and the text is from Hr. E. and was even personally handed over the table at the event railroad in February 2008 on CD.
At this point, thanks for the great pictures and text to Hr. E, I like to publish to the this point, have fun with it!
Love (Märklin -) model friends,
As a child you get a lot of ideas, in a sense playing. Some of them follow you no further, they represent only an attempt to orient themselves to see I'm not interested. Others are not so exciting to employ a longer time. We can not let them, even if there are years of interruption, but again at some point, it catches one. This happened many years ago, when there were trolley buses in our town, as at Christmas snow still lay in the city and we're flat as a children's noses to the window panes of the household goods and toys business pushed to the circles of the locomotives on to follow the issued Märklinschauanlage. The one wanted to have.
I got my first little train with 3 ½, beautifully prepared on a wood panel with a tunnel of jute bags, soaked in cold glue / water mixture and then placed on the form, landscape with few houses, surrounded by a homemade picket fence made of willow branches. I had infected me, the bug was in me. built every year for Christmas secretly, she remained until mid-May was in the living room, with my help, then dismantled, and then again at Christmas with a slightly enlarged and a new car or house again to confirm the room.
This all happened in the 50s of last century. My favorite was during this time the then current track plan booklet. I dreamed of a large installation of this issue and imagined how nice it would be to have one such, and to play with. But it was different at first. They moved around. The particular interests shifted, and the railway slumbered packed in boxes in the attic. In foresight of my parents but it was not sold or given away, although we no longer needed them. I made Abi, began a study, was interested in music just not to the Märklinbahn.
A good 25 years after the first starter set CM 805 / 3, I just had a job during the holidays and Christmas goods in the game business, would have to bear the panes actually still the dents Nasendrücken from my childhood. There was something. The Eisenbahnbazillus spoke up and took from that time on more and more possession of me. I remembered the treasure in the attic. By and by came to other treasures. Again the old track plan booklet was during this time the evening reading. Drawings were created and discarded. No place for a large facility. So busy weitersammeln and packed in banana boxes. Maybe at Christmas time to build a circle or checking out the engine shed with turntable. Nothing more.
When stopped coming, I had from my "soft playroom. Thus, the attic was removed and my refuge. Finally, it was possible to realize the nearly 40-year dream. So to study again the old track plan booklet to browse more recent Märklingleisplanhefte and then take it stimulated a decision. Somehow, should all that was collected during the years presented. The choice of a heritage railway with Märklinartikeln von 1945 - 1957 had fallen. The newer models I have, with few exceptions, which I liked, all sold again. These old models look a bit clunky though, just toys made for children's hands and not so delicate as the current models, one may hardly touch. They radiate the charm of my childhood and this is important for me. They chatter now about the old metal rails with solid center conductor and give me the feeling of children's toys, without any digital technology, which then glide almost silently then, controlled as if by magic, and play the driving noise by electronic components. Granted, the digital technology has its own charm: Create schedules, time lines, program trains can be controlled independently of each other on a rail, railway, etc. The right to be planned carefully.
No means controlled analog: always be at the height of the action, switch off to avoid clashes. A maximum of two trains simultaneously from overhead, with block operations may also be controlled more. It's fun and I met my childhood dream. The following pictures should give an impression of my childhood dream.
Have fun viewing the pictures.

I wish my system would be only half as far.
Really great!
Is there also a Gleispaln?
This plant likes it very much.
This is the 50 years plant, which I would like to build similar.
My hearty congratulations. Respect!
Hello, Mr. E.
The railway is the highest perfection, what you have built up. For my part, I prefer the 60's with Märklin, but also the beautiful sheet metal building. Had also the same as a question relating to the tower manufacturer. Have yourself a bridge interlocking of the same type of production but with a green "hammer blow"
paint in the base area
Hello Mr. E.
So hats off to this system! I was particularly pleased with a RES 800, my second locomotive (the first was to discover the TM 800), including cars. Compared to her big sister RE 800 she had to endure a certain Aschenputteldasein.
Now I would just like to know why the car apart to complement ST 800 so due to its coating total of neighboring cars. Was there any specific model, which in any catalog - I have it fully appeared from 1949 -?
Yours sincerely
Hans Peter Sultz
Hello Mr. E;
You write: "Trains can be controlled independently of each other on a rail, like the digital view is very attractive. But in the real train traveling from signal to signal - and that means? - Well? Between two signals is only one train runs. And that is, not the digital world of rail corresponds to the real - the reality is very close so the analog driving with a transformer in a block! Well, that's not water on our switches and relays the world? Greetings M. Hellwig
